Position Highlights

Responsibilities

As an HVAC Installer with Champion Mechanical, you will help install heating and cooling systems for homeowners and small businesses.
Responsibilities may include:

  •  Install air conditioning systems, heating systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and related HVAC equipment
  •  Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment
  •  Assist with ductwork, line sets, drain lines, thermostats, and system components
  •  Follow installation specifications, codes, and company quality standards
  •  Test installed systems for proper operation
  •  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  •  Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  •  Load, unload, and handle HVAC equipment safely
  •  Complete installation work efficiently while maintaining quality
Qualifications

Qualified applicants should have HVAC installation experience and a strong understanding of residential HVAC systems.

Preferred qualifications include:

  •  HVAC installation experience
  •  Valid driver’s license
  •  Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
  •  Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment
  •  Ability to climb ladders and work safely on job sites
  •  Strong teamwork and communication skills
  •  Dependable attendance and professional attitude
  •  EPA certification preferred
  •  Sheet metal, ductwork, or retrofit experience a plus
